Privacy Policy

gukul is a local browser-workflow recorder and runner. It processes information only to let you record, edit, run, and export browser workflows.

Summary

gukul does not operate a developer server, transmit extension data to the developer or third parties, sell data, or use data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes. This website does not use analytics or cookies.

Information handled by the extension

When you choose to record, configure, or run a workflow, gukul may handle browser URLs and origins; clicks, text entry, Enter actions, workflow structure, timing, and loop configuration you intentionally record; rendered text, form-control values, result fields, and target evidence you select; local CSV or JSON rows and run inputs you supply; and local operational details such as flow identifiers and revisions, execution checkpoints, outcomes, bounded run summaries, and sanitized node-event timelines.

Because gukul works on pages you select, website text, form values, or run inputs may contain personal or authentication information. gukul does not independently seek this information and handles it only when you intentionally select or supply it. Password fields are never recorded. Sensitive run inputs cannot have saved defaults and are kept only in Chrome session storage when needed to recover a user-started run after navigation. Imported data rows are not stored in a saved workflow or run timeline.

How information is used

The information is used only to save and edit workflows on your device, locate recorded page elements, replay user-directed actions, extract selected content into local results, recover a user-started session across supported navigation, display safety checks and diagnostics, and create a local CSV or JSON download or clipboard copy when you request it.

Storage and retention

gukul uses Chrome local storage for saved workflows, optional remembered non-sensitive inputs, the latest result set, and bounded run history. Chrome session storage holds active recording or run recovery state and ephemeral sensitive values.

• Saved workflows remain until you delete them or remove the extension.
• A flow’s latest result set remains until you clear it, delete the flow, or start a replacement run for that flow.
• Run history is bounded to the newest 50 summaries per flow, with detailed sanitized events for the newest 10 runs.
• Sensitive inputs and imported data rows are removed when the run session ends.

You can clear results, delete individual flows, clear run history, or remove the extension. Chrome may also manage extension storage according to your browser and device settings.

Sharing and disclosure

gukul does not transmit or share extension data with the developer, analytics providers, advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. User-initiated downloads and clipboard copies are created locally; you control what happens to those files or clipboard contents afterward.

Permissions

gukul requests access to HTTP(S) sites so a user-started workflow can record, run, and continue across supported navigation. Chrome scripting injects only the extension’s packaged recorder and runner. Chrome storage retains local workflows and recovery state. Chrome’s debugger input domain is used only during an active run to generate trusted clicks and Enter key events; it is detached when the run succeeds, fails, or stops and is not used to inspect network traffic.

Security

All extension code is included in the installed package. gukul does not download or execute remote code and does not transmit user data over a network. Protect exported files and your Chrome profile according to the sensitivity of your workflows and results.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

gukul’s use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide or improve gukul’s single user-facing purpose, is not transferred except as you explicitly direct through a local export or as required by law, is not used for advertising or credit decisions, and is not made available for human review except with your specific consent for support or where required for security or legal compliance.

Children

gukul is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
